You can charge up to 4 Li-Ion or lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) rechargeable batteries in sizes 26650, 22650, 18650, 18500, 17670, 16340, 14500 etc. or 1-4 NiMH AAA, AA or 1-2 Sub C rechargeable batteries independently from one another. The device detects NiMH and Li-Ion rechargeable batteries that are inserted fully automatically. Only when charging LiFePO4 batteries do you have to manually adjust the cell chemistry after inserting the batteries, before the automatic charging process starts.

To ensure that your rechargeable battery is still able to provide its optimal power even after many charging cycles, it is important that it is always charged carefully and safely. The Lithium 4 charger from ANSMANN has high-quality, microcontroller-controlled charging technology that utilises several methods to protect the rechargeable battery from rapid wear. These include the automatic shutdown of the charging process as soon as the cell is fully charged as well as protective trickle charging for NiMH cells after the actual charging process, amongst others. Especially lithium cells must be treated with particular care due to their high energy density. The special electronics in the Lithium 4 charger from ANSMANN guarantee the highest levels of safety.

Smart extras

A highlight of this charger is the easy-to-read, illuminated LCD, which informs you about all the relevant parameters during the charging process. It shows the battery voltage, charging capacity, charging current, charging progress and battery chemistry of the selected charging slot. In addition, the status is displayed individually for each charging slot so that you can see at a glance which battery is still being charged or is already fully charged. The charger also provides an audible signal, for example, when the battery is full or the battery is defective. If desired, the audible signal can also be deactivated. The Lithium 4 charger from ANSMANN can be used with any conventional 5V/2A USB adapter. For optimal charging, ANSMANN recommends a 2.4A USB high speed charger with Smart IC.
